Valentine's Giveaway - Romance - Oh la laaaa!

I found a very heartwarming, interesting, and straight shooting blog tonight that had me at the title, "Just Lisa, No Filler". I have always liked a girl that says it like it is, no fluff. She's currently having her first giveaway and it's an extra special "Valentine's Giveaway" for all your peeps who didn't get what you wanted today. She's taking entries until Friday, February 20th, and she'll post the winner on Saturday, February 21st.

I myself got an argument from my husband. Who could ask for more than that??? I know, I know, I shouldn't be so selfish. If any of you ladies didn't get an argument from your "special person" today, just let me know and I can send you my husband to yell at you for as long as you like, no charge! Just so you don't feel left out of course!

Anyway, here's all the great romance items that you can win on her Valentine's Giveaway...

* A Candle -- to set the mood (or just make your living room smell pretty)
* Chocolates -- local, delicious, and straight from Ghirardelli Square!
* Jewelry -- beautiful baubles for your ears!
* Body Spray -- it’s a proven fact that men are sexually attracted to food scents.
So spray on some warm vanilla sugar and have your man eat you up!
* Game -- I’ve never actually played this game, but it’s supposed to be good for
relationships. Who knows? Maybe you could make up your own rules and play
a strip tease version! I know you girls all have a naughty side!
* Movie -- no, not for you. It’s for the kids! They need something to keep them
busy while you’re, um, occupied.

"Made of Awesome"

Hey all my loyal readers and you cool new peeps too,

I'm so sorry that I've been MIA for so long. Life without blogs has been my reality for quite some time now. My personal life has been taking some blows lately....up, down and straight in the gut.

My grandma has been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in her colon and her surgery to remove it is this Tuesday. I've been taking care of her every day and night and still trying to be a somewhat okay mother and wife. I think I've been failing pretty much because all I want to do is sleep when I get home. But I know they understand how important my grandma is to me.

So "glamour" has not been a part of my life lately either but I'm hoping to get a bit back. Writing on my blog and reading other blogs relaxes me actually. It gives me something fun to think about since real life isn't very fun right now.

You will see some interesting, fabulous, "made of awesome" (that is what my 14 year old says), articles coming your way about fashion and glamour so w-a-t-c-h o-u-t !!!!!
